Here we go again!

I'm really not sure anyone reads this but if you do you will get a nice little perk... I am kinda reserved about putting pictures of my class online but I just love my little ones so much and they did such a great job at Play Day 2011 that I wanted to brag a little! it was Olympic game themed and my kids got to do the torch run, javelin throw, longest throw, and the over under. It was a blast! We are in room 10 in the building and my last name is Lee that is how we got the name!

ALSO...HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to any mommas reading this! I love my mom and I wish her all the best! Love you all and God Bless,

Beth Lee

WEiRD

Reading...I HAVE MISSED YOU! I LOVE reading about the Christian faith and I have not read a good book in a long time! So on our trip to Mardel yesterday David and I picked up a few books! I have started reading this one and I am officially sold on the saying!

WEiRd... because normal isn't working

What is normal? Am I "normal" or am I striving to go on the narrow path to find Christ at the end waiting to greet me?!

So excited to finish this book!

WOW..I will try and really do better...

Hi friends it really has been a long time. A lot of change is coming our way! I don't even know where to start about what all has changed! I guess I will just break it down this way!

- David has completed his first year of full time ministry and it has been a year filled with ups and downs! Many smiles and laughs and many hard times to go with them. After being here for about 5 or 6 months we finally met some great people our age and now consider those people some of your closest friends. I honestly have no idea what we would have done without Ryan, Amy, Dawn, and Brandon they have been so special to us this last year and I look forward to a great long friendship with them!
Here is a Picture after Sr. High Camp last summer with Brandon Ryan and Kelly Lee (she is AWESOME as well)

- Another change has been that my younger brother Steven has now joined the Marines! I am so proud of him and my dad also (a former Marine) for the sacrifices they make and courage they have to protect my rights! I love you guys!

-Next major event is that I got a job...well really two jobs! In January I was hired on as a special education aide at Seminole High School. After working there for a whole month I was given an AMAZING opportunity, I was asked to take over the self contained special education class at Seminole Elementary as the teacher! At first I was a Little scared because I was not yet certified to do it as I was given 3 weeks to get the kids TAKS ALT tests done as well as pass an EC-6 Generalist and a EC-12 Special Ed test as well! This was the time I relied on God the most! I know he had a HUGE hand in how is all happened and I am very thankful! Now I am officially the teacher and I also have a contract for next year! PRAISE GOD!
Here is a picture or me and some of my class on the day of the royal wedding! We wore hats! ha ha fun times!

Well I am sure there are so many more things to be thankful for but I think I will just end here!

Life is good BECAUSE God is GREAT!!!!

Just like Nana... well maybe not quite!

For as long as I have known my husband I have known that his grandmother Irma was an AMAZING cook! So when we got married his mother gave me an old church cookbook with a lot of great recipes from a lot of wonderful cooks! I am slowly working my way through the cookbook. One of the things that David misses the most about his grandma were her homemade Chicken and Dumplings, so I decided to attempt her from scratch Sunday Chicken & Dumplings! I think it turned out rather well! David seems happy and he said that this is defiantly a keeper in the make it again column!

Here is a little picture to show my success...

Hopefully more of the attempts will turn out this well!

Well I need to go to bed we have a BIG youth fundraiser tomorrow!

God is good,
Beth Lee

Let Love Win!

I kinda like music... (understatement of the year) I also really love Jesus and so anytime the two collide my soul smiles!!!! This is my song of the day! I hope you like it as much as I do!
P.S. David calls this the 2:8 House song...

I tried to put a video on here of if but sorry I couldn't figure it out! There are some good ones on youtube!

"Let Love Win"
by: Museum
This is the start, align the moment
That your hearts waited for
The road it stops in front of you
And you don't know where to go
The excuses fade and you run away
You will never be the same
You will never be the same

This is the debt of fate you've tried to pay
But just won't let you go
Through the years & tears that have held you here
Like a slave to your own soul
But the time has come to turn and run
To never be the same
You don't have to live this way

The sun is bright, Hope is here again
The morning light capturing you here
And Grace appears to bring you back again
Open up your eyes, stop and soak it in
And let love win

This is the moment of these days
That for years you've waited for
And all that stands in front of you
Compels you to let go
But a moment of fright and the fear in your eyes
Don't have to win this time

The sun is bright, Hope is here again
The morning light capturing you here
And Grace appears to bring you back again
Open up your eyes, stop and soak it in

Whoa
Stop and soak it in
Grace appears to bring you brand new life again
Just stop and soak it in
I still believe that you can let love win

The sun is bright, Hope is here again
The morning light capturing you here
And Grace appears to bring you back again
Open up your eyes, stop and soak it in
And let love win

Back to Seminole...

Well after a much needed trip home to see family and friends we are safely back in Seminole Texas! It was a VERY eventful trip...

~Car breaks down near Lawton
~Make it to OKC @ 1 am
~ Conversations with Pa
~ Quilt fabric shopping with my mom
~ Getting to see my precious Olivia!
~ Dominoes @ my grandparents
~ Games with the Lees
~ Church at NCCN
~ Lunch with AMAZING people ( Craig & Anita, Ken, Amber & Nate)
~ TCN Church picnic
~ Morning coffee and convos with Craig and Anita
~ RELAXING!

Over all it was a great time! Now that we are back it is back into the swing of ball games youth group and running our heads into a wall known as the "church"! It is so hard to try and be positive and try and change the hearts and minds of teens when the town and church around them refuses to change AT ALL!

God will provide and guide that is my constant prayer!

Last couple of days!

Well the last few days have been filled with a bunch of random things!

I have gotten to Sub in Family and Consumer Sciences, World History, and Special Ed for the last three days! FUN TIMES. Also, Tonight I went to my first Seminole High School Football game! Oh football in west Texas! I feel so lucky right now! God is so good!

I am also learning a valuable lesson about being in ministry...no matter how hard you try you will NEVER please everyone! People are always going to be unhappy about something and that is OK! Neither my husband or I are God nor do we claim to be. However, through God we are doing good in the life of teenagers. Times may get hard and people may get mad but MY identity and worth are found in GOD and GOD ALONE!!!

Another awesome thing is that this time next week I will be with these people...

My Mom, Dad, and brother Steven and the precious Olivia!

My wonderful in-laws De and Sam

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

As for tomorrow...The Big Event in Lamesa...free concert Seventh Day Slumber and Abandon!
